Samm is a Los Angeles based director and writer known for his ability to create surreal worlds with grounded, funny, resonant characters. 
 

His critically acclaimed television series, Downward Dog, was the first network series to premiere at Sundance, and was listed as one of the best shows of 2017 by the New York Times, LA Times, Collider, Paste, Vox, Gizmodo, AV Club and many others. 
 

His commercial directing and music video work is informed by his background as a VFX artist and motion designer, and has been featured everywhere from The Atlantic, NBC News and the Huffington Post, to Motionographer, Vimeo Best of the Year lists and the Cannes Lions.
